07:25 – 08:00: Pick up by our friendly guide and depart for Ninh Binh Province. Pickup time depends on your location in the Hanoi Old Quarter or Opera House area. 09:15: Short break for 15–20 minutes to relax. 10:15: Visit Hoa Lu Ancient Capital, the capital of Vietnam between 968 and 1010. Learn about Vietnamese history during the Dinh, Le, and Ly Dynasties. After that, enjoy a cycling trip around the village to explore the countryside and experience the daily life of local people. 12:00: Enjoy a buffet lunch at a local restaurant with a variety of Vietnamese dishes such as goat meat, spring rolls, fish, chicken, fried rice, and fresh vegetables. (Vegetarian options are available.) 13:30: Take a 1.5-hour bamboo boat ride in Tam Coc. During the trip, admire the peaceful scenery of rice fields, limestone mountains, rivers, and caves. This beautiful landscape is often called “Halong Bay on land.” 15:30: Return to the limousine bus and continue to Mua Cave (Dragon Peak). Climb nearly 500 steps to the top of Lying Dragon Mountain for a breathtaking panoramic view of Tam Coc. You can also enjoy the view of the beautiful lotus fields, especially during summer. 17:00: Check in at your bungalow or hotel. Free time to relax (swimming pool available in summer). 19:00: Dinner at the bungalow/hotel, then free time to walk around Tam Coc village.
Morning: Enjoy breakfast at the hotel/bungalow, then check out and get ready for the day. 09:30: Pick up and transfer to Bai Dinh Pagoda. 10:30: Visit Bai Dinh Pagoda, the largest pagoda complex in Southeast Asia. The site holds many impressive records, including 500 stone Arhat statues, a 36-ton bronze bell, and a 100-ton Buddha statue. 12:30: Enjoy a buffet lunch at a local restaurant with a variety of Vietnamese dishes such as goat meat, spring rolls, fish, chicken, fried rice, and fresh vegetables. (Vegetarian options are available.) 13:30: Visit Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex, recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site in 2014. Take a 2-hour boat trip through a spectacular system of limestone caves, rivers, and mountains. 16:00: Get on the bus and return to Hanoi. Tour ends in the evening.
